The classic companion for every candle lover: golden wick trimmers.
Wick trimmers make caring for your candle effortless.
Here’s how to use them:
Snip your candle wick after each burn and through the burnt wick clip away.
Display the wick trimmers next to your candle or keep it hidden in a safe spot until you need it again.
How Do I Care For My Candle?
Your first burn
Your first burn is the most important as it sets the wax pool melt for every burn thereafter. You should burn your candle for 3 hours the first time or until there is a complete pool of wax. Trim your candle wick to 1/4 inch after each burn.
If your candle is having trouble burning, you can create a tinfoil hat for your candle to help it. An uneven burn is called tunneling and you want to avoid that to get the most out of your candle.
You can fix a tunneled candle by wrapping a piece of aluminum foil around the edges and letting it burn. Make sure the foil hangs over the built-up wax areas. Leave an opening in the center so the wick can still burn. After a couple of hours, the wax should melt and even out the surface.
Setting your intention
Each time you light your candle, set your intention for the burn. What would you like to invite into your life? Choose a sentence or word to describe your deepest desires and speak it as you light the candle. If you have multiple wicks, set multiple wishes!
Completing your burn
Blowing your candle is an opportunity to practice gratitude. Gratitude can be as simple as thanking the candle for its light. You’ve now created a full candle experience from igniting the flame to extinguishing it.
